Kumari puja
The Kumari Puja will be held at the Laitumkhrah premises of Ramakrishna Mission as part of the Durga Puja celebrations on October 21 at 9 AM. This year along with many enlightened citizens of Shillong, Govrnor V. Shanmuganathan, will also witness the Kumari Puja at Ramakrishna Mission.
Book release
A book titled “Impact of Research Projects on Quality of Research in Chemistry” will be released at Synod College at 12 noon on October 28. The book has been edited by S.S Islam.
General meeting
The Lamare clan, Shillong will hold its general meeting at the Arts & Culture Hall, U Soso Tham Auditorium at 1:00 P.M on October 24. All clan members residing in and around Shillong have been requested to attend the meeting.
Greetings

Medical camp
The Synjuk ki Seng Rangbah Katholik Shillong Arch-diocese will conduct a free medical camp at Umraleng Parish, Umbir from 10 AM onwards on October 24.
Golden Jubilee
The Langrin Government Upper Primary School, Wahkaji will celebrate its Golden Jubilee on October 30. The managing committee of the school has invited all the former headmasters, teachers and students to take part in the celebrations.
