Rape attempt on minor
On October 20 around 3 am, one Shanbor Lyngkhoi (30) attempted to rape one four-year-old girl in her house at Phudjaud village in South West Khasi Hills and also threatened the mother of the girl with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.
Vehicle theft
On October 20 around 3.30 am, unidentified miscreants stole one vehicle (ML-04B-6174) belonging to Biem Shadap from his residence at Thadmuthlong in West Jaintia Hills.
