SHILLONG: The AICC general secretary in-charge Meghalaya V. Narayanasamy will meet Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, who is camping in Delhi, on Saturday and discuss the standoff between the Chief Minister and the KHADC  chief P N Syiem over the issue of dual post Bill. “I will first hold discussion with the Chief Minister tomorrow on the matter and later will meet the Congress president,” the AICC leader said over phone from Delhi on Friday. The Chief Minister had left for Delhi on Thursday, a day before the mega rally of the headmen demanding the need to give nod to the VAB pending with the Governor and also to  review of the   dual post Bill hurriedly  passed by the Government among other issues.
Though the AICC is aware of the massive rally held in Shillong demanding the resignation of the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues, the High Command considers that resignations would not bring any solution.
“Will the resignations bring about any solution to the problems?”  Narayanasamy asked.
