Founder’s mortal remains reaches city

SHILLONG: The mortal remains of former minister Founder Strong Cajee, who passed away in Vellore on November 10, was brought to Shillong on Wednesday. Cajee’s funeral will be held on Friday.
Condolences continued to pour in on Wednesday expressing grief at the sudden demise of the four-time MDC.
The FKJGP central body stated that Cajee’s death was a great loss to Mawlai and the entire state.
“His has made great contribution to the society, especially the downtrodden,” the FKJGP said.
Meanwhile, the CSWO also expressed sorrow over the untimely death of Cajee.
“He was a courageous and simple leader who was humble in his ways with the common man,” the CSWO said in a statement issued here.
The Hynniewtrep Youths’ Council (HYC) Mawlai Circle also condoled the death.
