Intl Photo Fest ends on a high

SHILLONG: The first edition of the Shillong International Photo Festival, 2015 ended on Thursday at St. Anthony’s College, Shillong.
H. M. Shangpliang, Director, Information and Public Relations, addressing the gathering as the chief guest during the closing ceremony and lauded the efforts of the College for making the festival a grand success.
Shangpliang mentioned that the State government was interested in organizing such festivals every alternate year to benefit local youths and budding photographers.
He also felicitated the photographers by awarding them citations. Others present in the function included Fr. Joby Joseph, Vice Principal, St. Anthony’s College and faculty members of the College’s Mass Media Department.
