Theft
On Saturday, unknown miscreants broke into the office of ‘Synroplang Self Help Group’ at Mawpat, Shillong and stole Rs. 6 lakh.
On Saturday afternoon, unknown miscreant stole one mobile phone belonging to Sumit Gaurav from his residence at Lumshyiap, Nongmynsong, Shillong.
On Friday, one Maruti Swift (ML-05L-9185) driven by Gilbert D Dkhar dashed against one motorcycle (ML-05K-6385) ridden by Bankerlang Kharkongor at Laitkor, Shillong.
As a result the motorcycle rider sustained injuries and was removed to CH Shillong.
FIRs
Md. Arif Hussain Mondol lodged a complaint that on November 17, one Mursheda Begum (20), Md. Fojidur Rahman and their friends attempted to abduct the complainant from near Jinjiram river at Sarokpara village (WGH).
Police arrested the two named accused.
Gracylla Shabong lodged a complaint that on November 1, one Maximus Raju Chyne borrowed, a pair of gold earrings, a Cell phone and Rs. 2500 cash from her with a promise to return them on November 6, but till date he failed to return.
Threat
R Ch Marak lodged a complaint that on November 17, an anonymous person called her from three different phone numbers in which he demanded cash and also threatened her with dire consequences.
Assault
On November 14, two unidentified miscreants assaulted Daiophi Sutong at Lekilo village (EJH). As result the victim sustained injuries and was admitted at CHC Khliehriat.
Accidents
A loaded truck heading towards Shillong from Pynursla drove off the road and fell into a gorge at Laitlyngkot under Pynursla.
Two occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries when the incident took place on November 20. The 108 emergency ambulance shifted Timothy Mylliemngap (23) and Billy Mynsong (60) to NEIGRIHMS.
A pillion rider fell off from the motorbike and sustained injuries. Dharmeshto Koch (20) was returning home to Latubari from Garodoba when the bike became off-balanced while travelling on a patch of bad road.
The incident took place at Khongpara under Betasingh Block, South West Garo Hills on November 20 at 4:50 P.M.
