Proceeding towards the main road, a loaded Bolero pick-up jeep overturned while it was travelling on a stretch of dirt road. Two co-passengers travelling in the vehicle sustained injuries when the mishap occurred at Langkyrding in Shillong on Wednesday. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Shillong helped in shifting Kevin Rani (30) and his co-passenger to NEIGRIHMS, Shillong.
A Maruti car (ML05D – 2341) proceeding towards 7th Mile in Upper Shillong was involved in a head on collision with a Maruti Alto (ML05L – 2588 (T)) coming from the opposite direction at Mylliem. Shailin Kharkongor (38) who was travelling in the Maruti car sustained and has been shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Pomlum.
A Maruti Alto local taxi ferrying passenger from Shillong to Mawryngkneng overturned after it hit a road side barricade. Three passengers sustained injuries in the incident on Tuesday. Lucky Lawai (24), Ready Lawai (29) and their co-passenger was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
