Surrendered GNLA cadre identified as Kenny Rozar Sangma alias Jack was lynched by villagers at Chigitchagre village under Dadenggre civil sub division on Thursday evening over allegations that he was involved in extortion and criminal activities including kidnappings.
Earlier, two members of a criminal gang had been lynched  by an angry mob in Kalchengpara area of Selsella region in West Garo Hills on Wednesday after they unsuccessfully tried to kidnap two non-tribal traders passing through the area.
A group of 6-7 armed miscreants stopped an auto-rickshaw near Jingjanggre village in Rom area of Selsella and abducted 52 year old trader Rohul Amin who hailed from Bangalkata village of Chibinang together with the auto driver.
