SHILLONG: Police on Friday detained some people from Mawlai Phudmuri for assaulting one Tinku Das (24) who went to the locality late at night to drop one Aimarkynti Cajee (28) to her residence.
On reaching the residence of the woman at around 1.45 am on Friday, her husband Elezer Dkhar dragged Das inside his vehicle and attempted to stab him with a knife.
The victim sustained minor injuries. Police detained all the persons involved in the incident.
