SHILLONG: Nongmynsong MLA and Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek lashed out at PHE officials for irregular supply of water in his constituency.
The Minister was apprised of the problem by the local Dorbar which convened a meeting on Friday to discuss the situation. The Dorbar Shnong felt that the locality was suffering due to the slow pace of the work carried out by the PHE.
The PHE officials assured Hek that the laying of pipes in the area will be completed before December 20.
The Dorbar has said that it would convene another meeting on December 19 to review the situation.
