Accidents
On November 30 at about 1.15 am, one Bolero (ML-05L-1441) driven by Pyniaid Lyngdoh (35) rammed into a shop at Mawryngkneng (East Khasi Hills). As a result, Theli Dkhar sustained injuries and was shifted to Bethany Hospital, Shillong.
On November 29 at about 6.30 pm, one Maruti local taxi (number not known) knocked down one minor boy, Bawanphrang K. Budnah (13) at Mawlai Nongkwar. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Theft
On November 29 night, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of Elmano Shangpliang at Police Bazar and stole cash Rs. 80,000/- (approx) and 35/40 cell phones.
On November 28, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-05L-6967) belonging to Achyutananda Bhattacharya (54) from Motinagar, Shillong.
Assault
On November 25 at about 7.30 pm, one Don Leskor assaulted Wanshwa Dkhar with a sharp object at Nartiang village (West Jaintia Hills). As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to PHC Nartiang.
