Peace festival

SHILLONG: Over 1500 people took part in a district level Peace Festival organized in Baghmara along with the inauguration of the Bakdil’s Multi Facility Centre at Malikona in the area on December 1.
On the occasion, local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary, Samuel Sangma exhorted people to work hard for development of villages through Self Help Groups.  Niki Davies from England who made some contributions towards the Centre hoped that it would help people in their journey in identifying useful enterprises.
