Theft
On the night of December 5, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of Babul Ain at Umkdait, Nongmynsong, Shillong and stole ten car batteries.
Accident
On December 6 at around 8 am, one Maruti Alto tourist taxi (ML-06-5716) driven by Client Kupar L.K Rangad collided head on with one Tata Sumo (ML-05J-7628) driven by Robert S. Wahlang at Baniun (East Khasi Hills). The driver and four taxi occupants sustained injuries and were removed to Civil Hospital Shillong and NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang.
On December 6 at around 3 pm, a Tata Sumo (ML-05G-4454) driven by Kitbok Rymbai (20) plunged into a gorge at Mawngap (East Khasi Hills).The driver sustained injuries and was shifted to PHC, Mawngap.
