SHILLONG: The first Khasi horror movie, ‘Dak Bangla’ was released on Tuesday by Sanbor Shullai, MLA, South Shillong constituency.
Speaking on the occasion as Chief Guest, Shullai expressed concern over the hurdles faced by the film makers in the State for they lack equipment to make and produce a film. He lauded the efforts that went into making the movie that took over 2 years to complete, “It is interesting to note that the movie has a social message, creating awareness on the issues of rape and harassment of women.” Shullai has urged the people of the state to come out in support of the movie giving the makers their due.
