2 killed in road mishap

SHILLONG: Two people died in two separate road accidents in the last one week in the state.
On December 5 at around 6 pm, one Maruti Gypsy (ML-04A-2447) dashed against one motorcycle (AS-21A-6001) ridden by one Shen Kumar at Khliehriat. In the incident, the motorcycle rider sustained injuries and succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
In another incident on December 4, one unknown mini truck dashed against one motorcycle (ML-08B-4216) ridden by Laban Momin at Noga Nokat in West Garo Hills. The motorcycle rider died on the spot.
Several injured
Two occupants of a Maruti car sustained injuries when the vehicle overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Vicky Singh (24) was learning to drive the car under the guidance of Sonu Rishi (24) when he lost control of the vehicle at Hawakhana under Rongram Block, West Garo Hills District on December 8 evening.
The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Tura helped in shifting Vicky Singh and Sonu Rishi to Tura Civil Hospital.
