Meghalaya crime update

Theft
One person stole Rs 1000 from the residence of one  woman in the city on Saturday.
On December 12 noon, one boy impersonating as LPG cylinder delivery man went to the residence of Akina Panmei at Cleve Colony, Shillong and stole one mobile phone and Rs 1000 cash.
NGT ban violation
Police on Friday last  detected two trucks (ML-04A-8371 & ML-05G-2654) driven by Bol Dkhar and Dromin Surong, respectively, while transporting coal in violation of NGT order at Deinchynrum village  in East Jaintia Hills.
In another incident,   on December 9 at around 10 am, Police arrested two persons namely, Nar Thapa and  Maila Gurung while they were extracting coal from a quarry at Johadem village  in West Jaintia Hills.
FIR complaint
An employee of the Rani Motors, Maruti Spare parts branch, Shillong  has been accused of collecting  bills and not depositing it in the office.
Rape
A minor has been allegedly raped in a village in  Ri Bhoi district.
As per police, on December  7 noon, one Stephen Shabong raped one twelve year old girl at Byrwa village under Umiam police station.
