TURA: An RTI has been filed by the A’chik Students’ Welfare Association (ASWA) with the Public Information Officer (PIO), Higher and Technical Education in Shillong seeking information on the Post Matric Scholarship for the session 2012-13 and 2014-15.
In the RTI, information was sought on the total amount of money sanctioned for the scholarship for the two sessions.
Names of institutions whose students can avail of it.
Names of eligible students from Garo Hills who can receive it along with the name of their institution and the amount receivable per student, names of eligible students from Tura Government College
Also the amount each is entitled to and the last date on which the scholarship is to be dispersed.
