Shillong: A one day Workshop on Preparation of District Disaster Management Plan organized by the District Disaster Management Plan Authority, East Jaintia Hills District was held on Monday at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Room, Khliehriat.
N.A.K. Syiem, ADC & Executive Officer, Disaster Management Authority, in his speech urged all the line departments to be ready to extend help and support incase their services is require during any eventualities.
During the workshop, D. Lyngdoh, ADPO, Revenue & Disaster Management, Khliehriat briefed on the overview of Disaster Management Act 2005 and Disaster Management Plan.
