The final day of the festival was held at KSA stadium where Metbah Lyngdoh, local MLA, was the chief guest.
Starting off with a group song by Nala Tynrai group which regaled the thousands gathered at the stadium, the programme was followed by a lively “Thanksgiving Dance” Shad Palei Mynsiem dance, performed by a host of dancers, young and old decked in full traditional attire.
Speaking on the occasion,  Lyngdoh, said that it is very encouraging to see that such a programme to remember our roots, culture and tradition was held.
“Such programmes are important in the present day context as the present generation are slowly forgetting their roots while aping the western culture.” Lyngdoh said.
Lauding the organisers, he called upon the officers working in the subdivision to not only perform their duty but also to be accountable to the people.
