No LPG shortage in city: IOC

SHILLONG: Despite reports of scarcity, the Indian Oil Corporation has said that there is no shortage of LPG cylinders in Shillong at the moment.
Deputy Manager, (LPG-S), Shillong, S. Chakma said that they are monitoring the situation to ensure that there is no scarcity of LPG cylinders during the festive season.
Recently DC Supply, PS Dkhar admitted that he has been receiving complaints about shortage of LPG cylinders in the city. However, Chakma said that there is no shortage of supply of LPG which is made on the basis of the number of bookings.
He further said that there are around 50000 to 60000 LPG connections in Shillong city.
