SHILLONG: On demands from the computer students of Nongpoh and Jowai, the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre (RKMVCC), Shillong is contemplating to open ‘exclusive’ or ‘affiliated’ computer training centres in these two towns of Meghalaya in the greater interest of the student community.
Swami Achyuteshananda Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong, said there are demands from students from other parts of the State who are putting up in Shillong to undergo computer courses at the Computer Training Centre of RKMVCC, to open new centres in their home towns.
He added that the philanthropic organization is planning to sponsor free computer training for 100 needy students.
