Block Cong Committee condoles Friday’s death

SHILLONG: The members of the North Shillong Block Congress Committee (NSBCC) and Frontier Chamber of Commerce have conveyed condolence message to the bereaved family of late Friday Lyngdoh.
NSBCC remembered late Lyngdoh as a mentor and guide of the Block Congress Committee in the condolence meeting held on December 26. The NSBCC also recalled the many contributions of Lyngdoh. Two minutes’ silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
“In his social and political life, the best interests of the people and of the State were supreme to him. He exemplified qualities of patience, compassion and perseverance and endeavored wholeheartedly for the welfare of the society and the State”, the NSBCC said in a statement issued jointly by its president, Manbor S Warjri and general secretary  James S Lyngdoh..
The Frontier Chamber of Commerce recalled him as a kind hearted person, active political leader and social worker.
