Theft at police quarter

SHILLONG: Even official quarters of police personnel seem unsafe from the theft menace.
Recently, unknown miscreants stole one LED TV from a quarter at the Sadar Police station complex in the city. The incident happened on December 22 evening when miscreants stole one LED TV valued around Rs. 90,000 and other items from Quarter No. 14 at Sadar Police Station Complex.
An FIR in this regard has been lodged by P. Chettri of Sadar Police State Complex.
In a similar incident, one LED computer monitor was found missing from the Cash Certificate Section, Office of the Director of Account (Postal), NE Circle, Shillong, since December 21. One S K Baidya lodged a complaint in this regard.
