Complaint against midday meal wholesaler

SHILLONG: A police official has filed an FIR against a government nominated wholesaler of midday meal for not issuing rice to schools under Shella-Bholaganj Block.
Z. Kharkongor, Sub-Inspector, Supply, Sohra Civil Sub-Division lodged a complaint that one K. Synrem, wholesaler of midday meal did not issue the midday meal rice to the schools under Shella-Bholaganj block from April to September 2015.
When contacted, Sohra SDPO Ian Swer said that the matter was being investigated.
