A patient named Tengbirth Sangma (25/M) who was admitted in the male medical ward on December 28 at around 3:40 pm at Civil Hospital, Shillong passed away on December 31 at 12:35 pm.
The hospital authorities have asked all concerned relatives to collect the body from the hospital morgue immediately or within a period of 3 days with effect from January 6, failing which the body will be sent for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.
