SHILLONG: The Full Bench of the High Court of Meghalaya  will take up on  January 13 the issue related to non judicial member becoming the Chairperson of Lokayukta.
Earlier, the High Court had stayed the clause related to non-judicial member becoming the  Chairperson of  Lokayukta as mentioned in the Meghalaya  Lokayukta Act 2014.
During  the hearing on Thursday, the Advocate General  BP Todi said that the State has filed a Special Leave Petition before  the Supreme Court which is likely to be taken up shortly.
