On January 10, at around 7.45 pm, one Mini Bus (ML-05M-9054) driven by Kionstar Sohtun fatally knocked down one Dring Mawlong (59) at 3rd Mile Upper Shillong.
On January 9, around 5 pm, one Jeep (ML-05-9086) driven by Gordon Rumnong (26 yrs) dashed against a roadside wall at Mylliem (EKH). As a result the driver and one occupant sustained injuries and were removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
On January 8 at around 5.15 pm, one Tata Sumo vehicle (AS-01AC-1309) driven by Md. Islam dashed against one motorcycle (AS-01AC-2637) ridden by Kosterwell Syngkli (25) at Sohkyrbam village (RB). As a result, the motorcycle rider along with one pillion rider sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Patharkhmah. Driver of the Tata Sumo fled away after the incident.
On January 8 at around 5.50 pm, one scooty (ML-10B-1230) ridden by a male skidded off the road at 15th Mile, Byrnihat. In the incident, the rider and one pillion rider sustained injuries and were shifted to a hospital at Guwahati.
