Darbhanga: Suspended BJP MP Kirti Azad on Saturday reacted sharply to the disciplinary action against his supporters and dared senior BJP leader and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to contest election from Darbhanga Lok Sabha seat.
Reaching his Lok Sabha constituency of Darbhanga for the first time after his suspension, Azad told mediapersons that he was suspended from the party only after he raised the issue of alleged corruption in the DDCA scam.
He also exuded confidence that he would defeat Mr Jaitely in Darbhanga Lok Sabha seat even if he contestes the election as an Independent. (UNI)
