NEWDELHI: The Deputy Chief Minister in charge Law Rowell Lyngdoh met Congress president   Sonia Gandhi  at her 10 Janpath residence  on Saturday raising speculation over the nature of his meeting at a time when the state is beset with myriad problems especially related to the legal issues on headmen and dual post.
When contacted at the Meghalaya House here, Lyngdoh did not divulge the details of the meeting and he said that it was a courtesy call.
But sources said the meeting assumes significance considering Lyngdoh’s name frequently propping up as one of the many  who will be dropped from the ministry.
