Elton John’s kids work for pocket money
British singing legend Elton John says his children     work around the house to earn their pocket mon    ey. The 68-year-old and his partner David Furnish – who are parents to five-year-old Zachary and three-year-old Elijah – may lead an extravagant lifestyle, but John says he makes his children carry out chores in exchange for cash and hopes they will learn the value of money, reports a website. “I came from a council house and a working class background and I earned my money and I earned it with very hard work and I loved it,” John said in an interview on radio. “And I want them to work for their money. They both have pocket money, but they have to work in the house for it and they have to work in the garden,” he added. (IANS)
Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick are ‘totally getting along’
Kourtney Kardashian may have ended her nine-year     relationship with partner Scott Disick, but the reality TV star says they are still cordial to each other. The 36-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star said that her estranged partner will always be a part of family, reported US magazine. “We’re not together. I feel like every day is different, but we’re totally getting along. Like, we have three beautiful kids together… He’s family. He’ll always be,” Kourtney said. The former couple are parents to Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 13 months, and have been spotted together occasionally in the months since their split. (PTI)
Akshay humbled by ‘Airlift’ response
After the successful takeoff of his film “Airlift”, Akshay Kumar has thanked his fans for the love and   support showered on the Raja Krishna Menon directorial. The film, which revolves around the evacuation of Indians from Kuwait during the 1990 Iraq-Kuwait war, released on January 22, and on the opening day earned over Rs.12 crore at the ticket window. “I don’t know how to thank you all for every ounce of all your love and support for #Airlift, feeling extremely humbled,” Akshay tweeted on Sunday.  The film tells the story of an unsung hero who provided help in the evacuation of Kuwait-based Indians during the Iraq-Kuwait war.  Airlift also stars Nimrat Kaur, Feryna Wazheir and Purab Kohli. Nimrat also followed the star in thanking the movie-goers, and posted: “So grateful to each of you the love. Feel so fortunate to have been associated with this incredible story. #Airlift. (IANS)
