On January 23 Phon Syiah, Local Director, Adhunik Cement Ltd., Khliehriat (EJH) lodged a complaint that one employee namely, Sukban Sunn have cheated the following cement dealers namely, Kermiki Dkhar, Hun Hardware, P. Kharsyntiew and Benite Enterprise to the tune of Rs. 8,10,124.
Threatened
On January 21 Debalin Kharbuki of Lawmei Pdengshnong (EKH) lodged a complaint that one Disen Roy Kharbuki (35) threatened her and her family members with dire consequences.

Accident
On January 13 one Mahindra vehicle (AS-01-EC-5533) driven by Raju Ahmed dashed against one scooty (ML-05M-1987) ridden by David L Ranee near Doordarshan Kendra, Laitkor (EKH). As a result, rider of scooty sustained injuries and was admitted at CH Shillong.
