SHILLONG: In a worrisome factor for the security forces, the militant groups in the Northeast have come together to work for a common cause.
The ULFA-Independent, GNLA, HNLC, United Liberation Front of  WeSEA, and  Co-ordination  Committee, Manipur have come under one banner to extend support to each other as per the statement issued to the media .
However, police are keeping vigil to thwart any of their attempts to disrupt peace and harmony.
It may be mentioned that the security agencies had recently received information about the possible communication between the ULFA and the proscribed GNLA before carrying out the Williamnagar blast in Garo Hills region of Meghalaya. Nine people were injured in the blast that took place in Williamnagar market.
