SHILLONG: An unknown miscreant stole cheques and withdrew over Rs 6 lakh by forging the signature of a person in Jowai.
Chairman of Jowai Cooperative Urban Bank Ltd., lodged a complaint that unknown miscreant stole cheques, forged the signature of one Kmenlang Dong of Muphlang village (WJH) and withdrew Rs. 6,70,000 on different occasions.
