A complaint was lodged that one Desen Roy Kharshiing, acting Headman of Ladmawpen village (EKH) fraudulently withdrew Rs. 55,000 from Meghalaya Rural Bank.
Accident
On February 1, one Maruti local taxi (ML-06-4913) driven by Khrawkupar Kharjahrin capsized at Jakrem (SWKH). As a result, three female occupants including a ten-year-old girl sustained injuries and were shifted to CH Shillong.
