3 NSCN(K) cadres held

Itanagar: Security personnel in an operation nabbed three NSCN(K) cadres from adjoining jungles of Laju and Noglo area in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.
The troops of 1st Assam Rifles on Wednesday caught hold of the cadres along with arms and ammunitions after 96 hours of search, battling inclement weather, an Assam Rifles release said here on Thursday.
Initially only one ultra was apprehended in the jungle area of Kollam and later, acting on his tip off, two of his accomplices were apprehended subsequently from Kollam and Noglo area.
The cadres of the rebel outfit were identified as Alon Wangsa (28), a resident of Nginu, Major Kommen Kanglon (30), a resident of Tutnyu and Napong Kangnong (19), who hails from Noglo village, the release said. (PTI)
