SHILLONG: A case of desecration of a church has been reported in West Khasi Hills after one person destroyed the statue of Mary.
Police said the incident happened on Sunday when one Donald Sohlangpiaw destroyed the statue of Mary in the compound of the Catholic Church at Mawkhlam village.
A complaint has been lodged by one Klitsar Sohlangpiaw in this regard.
