Pulse Polio immunization programme

SHILLONG: The Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, East Khasi Hills will conduct the National Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization Programme (IPPI), all over the district. The goal of the programme is to eradicate Poliomyelitis and to vaccinate all children under five years of age against Polio. The second round of the programme will be held on February 22 in the arranged booths throughout the District and will be followed by house-to-house search and coverage activity on February 23 and 24.
