Shillong:  After a morale boosting performance against I-League  defending champions Mohun Bagan on Wednesday, Lajong are all set to face off newbies  DSK Shivajians on Sunday at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune.
Lajong have collected two points out of the three away matches played this month  against Aizawl FC (0-0 draw) and Mohun Bagan (1-1 Draw). They are currently in the  6th position with 9 points. Uilliams, Fabio and Sana Singh have provided the goals for the Reds.
Lajong head coach Thangboi Singto said, “Yamagata is still injured and Fabio is also a concern but we will take the final call tomorrow.  The team needs to be consistent and maintain the same mental, physical and tactical  attitude shown in the first half match against Mohun Bagan. We need to convert our chances. We need and must aim for maximum points.”
Meanwhile DSK Shivajians are at the bottom of the table and have managed to win one, drew one and lost five matches. They have only four points to their kitty.
