SHILLONG: Congress at the Centre toppled many governments in the Northeast in the past and the Chief Minister Mukul Sangma has no right to blame the BJP for the change of government in Arunachal Pradesh,  the UDP president and former Chief Minister Donkupar Roy said on Wednesday.
The reaction of Roy is in the wake of the comments of the Chief Minister that BJP had toppled the Congress government in Arunachal and the saffron party will try to do the same in Meghalaya.
“In the past, the Congress at the Centre toppled  the governments led by regional parties in Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur and Mizoram and  now, how can the Congress blame the style of  functioning of the BJP which is following the example of Congress ” Roy asked
