3 killed in road accidents

SHILLONG: An  oil tanker (TR-01AA-1723) driven by one Gopiga Sutradar fatally knocked down one  Tozin Uddin (40), driver of a truck (ML-04A-0654) who was replacing a punctured tyre at Ratacherra, NH-44 in East Jaintia Hills at around 7 am on Thursday.
In another accident on February 25 at around 11.15 pm, one truck (AS-01U-9413) dashed against one Maruti car (ML-05-4243) driven by Rishanlang Dkhar (30) at Mawlai Mawiong. As a result, driver of the Maruti car died on the spot while one female occupant sustained injuries and was shifted to Woodland Hospital. Earlier on February 24, one motorcycle (ML-07-6919) ridden by Sutindro T Sangma collided head on with another motorcycle (ML-08B-6251) ridden by Silnang Sangma at Kusimkolgre (EGH). As a result, Sutindro died on the spot.
