SHILLONG: In an incident of reckless driving, one motorcycle (number not known) knocked down Noris Mary Kharkongor (65) at Laitkor and while she was being helped by one Charles Nongrum (40) a Maruti car (ML-05G-5678) driven by Peter Rani (31) knocked Nongrum down.
 As a result, both victims sustained injuries and were removed to Woodland Hospital, Shillong.
In another incident, one Pick-up truck (ML-05H-3636) driven by Blessingson Nongpluh (29) fell into a gorge at Puriang (East Khasi Hills) on February 27. As a result, the driver and one occupant sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On February 26, one SPTS Tata Magic vehicle (ML-01-6398) driven by Korbar Nongsiej (26) collided with one Maruti car (WB-02M-6793) driven by Shaibor Dkhar (45) at Laitkor, Shillong.
As a result, two occupants of the SPTS vehicle sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
