Mahila Congress meet

SHILLONG: A general meeting of the North Shillong Block Mahila Congress was held at the Congress Bhavan in Thana Road here on Saturday.
The meeting was addressed by Roshan Warjri, Home Minister and MLA North Shillong, along with President, Meghalaya Pradesh Mahila Congress, Joplin S Shylla, and Manbor Singh Warjri, general secretary, Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee. Besides discussing the various welfare and developmental schemes brought about by the State Government, the Mahila Congress, in the meeting, further resolved to strengthen the party in the State.
The meeting also elected the following office bearers of the North Shillong Block Mahila Congress with Niloufer Laloo named the president and Shikha Bhattacharjee  and  Biancy Basaiawmoit named vice presidents. 40 executive members were also elected.
