DU college principal claims assault by faculty member

New Delhi: The principal of DU’s Swami Shraddhanad College today alleged he was assaulted by a member of its faculty even as the institution’s governing body appointed a new chairman and principal. Some teachers of the college accused former acting principal Praveen Garg of assaulting present principal AN Jha at the college gate. Garg, however, denied having attacked Jha. (PTI)
