State artists to perform at Art of Living Fest

SHILLONG: As many as hundred artists from Meghalaya will perform the dance forms of Khasi-Jaintia and Garo during the World Cultural Festival 2016 to be held in New Delhi from March 11 to 13 organized by the Art of Living, a global movement founded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
The three- day grand festival will have a massive 7-acre stage to accommodate thousands of artists ,dignitaries and guests with an objective to bring a wide variety of music, dance and other art forms from India and across the globe on one platform and keep it alive for future generation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the festival.
On all three days of the festival Art of living Founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will lead a “peace meditation” which would be joined by millions across the globe.
