SHILLONG: Commissioner and Secretary, Frederick Roy Kharkongor, has been appointed as the new Chief Electoral Officer of the State.
The appointment comes after Additional Chief Secretary P. Naik, who was holding the charge of Chief Electoral Officer, retired recently.
