New Delhi: A 12-year-old boy was killed allegedly by his step-father in west Delhi’s Nihal Vihar area, apparently in a fall-out of a husband-wife tiff, police said on Saturday.
According to police, the incident took place on Thursday night after Sewa Ram had an argument with his wife Vidya. The woman refused to accompany him to his native village for her son Vishwajit whose examination is scheduled in coming days.
Sewa Ram brought a knife from the kitchen and hit Vishwajit on his face. By the time Vidya could raise an alarm, Sewa Ram fled the scene and could not be tracked till this evening.
Vidya then fell unconscious and it was the neighbours who informed the police. (PTI)
