Person falls off from moving bus, gets killed
SHILLONG: One person died on the spot after he fell down from a running truck near Mawngap. The incident happened on Monday afternoon when Kynsaiborlang Khongsit (18) fell down from a running truck (ML-05G-7995) driven by one D. Ryntathiang and was fatally ran over by the same truck at Kyrpei, Tyrsad under Mawngap.
Man knocked down
SHILLONG: A Government-run SPTS bus on Tuesday knocked down one woman at Police Bazar. The incident happened on Tuesday when one STPS bus (ML-01-6213) driven by Sanu Nongsiej knocked down R. Lyngdoh (54) at Police Bazar, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong.
In another incident, one scooty (ML-05K-4941) ridden by Rajesh Singh (32) knocked down one Marius Nongkynrih (35) at Mawblei Petrol Pump, Shillong. The incident happened on Tuesday and the Victim sustained injuries and was removed to hospital.
Decomposed body found
SHILLONG: A decomposed body was found at Jongkipara village in Tura. Selina A. Sangma lodged a complaint that her husband Nithingson Ch Marak was missing from his mother’s residence at Jongkipara village since February 27 this year. However, on Mach 7 his decomposed dead body was found at Jongkipara village.
Dead body recovered
SHILLONG: On March 9, one Archankini Shadap, driver of Bolero pick-up (ML-04-1461), left Saba village (WJH) along with his two helpers Hunmi Sten and Bhalang Nartiang. However, one of them Archankini Shadap did not return home and on March 11, his dead body was recovered from Lad Rymbai (EJH)
