Elaborate traffic arrangements for KJP Synod Mihngi

SHILLONG: Shillong police has made elaborative traffic arrangements in connection with the KJP Synod Mihngi to be held on March 20 at Smit.
SP M Kharkrang informed that light vehicles coming from Jaintia Hills will enter Lad Smit and go through Urmasi-U-Joh village and park their vehicles at Parking Lot No. 1 opposite Ingsad Hima Khyrim and Mawmluh Parking Lot No.4, Wahingsyiem Football Ground, Parking Lot No.3 and at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Smit Parking Lot No.10.
Heavy vehicles will be parked at Parking Lot No.18 at Mawmluh opposite Presbyterian School.
He also said that light vehicles coming from Shillong will enter Lad Nongkrem through Nongkrem to Umphrup, there will be two ways one going to Panhok Ground Parking Lot No.2 and the other to Umiew Maw-U-Sam Parking Lot No.7 & 8 beside Umiew river. Both heavy and light vehicles will be allowed to park there.
According to Kharkrang, light vehicles coming from Dawki – Pynursla side through Laitlyngkot including those coming from Mawlat-Mawkynrew till Thangsning area will park at Umtngew Football ground Parking Lot No.11 and at Khapmaw Parking Lot No.12 and added that heavy vehicles will park at Mawkathein Football ground Parking Lot No.9 and Maw-U-Sam Parking Lot No.15.
Vehicles with car passes will enter through Lad Smit towards Smit and park their vehicles at Krissimai Syiemsad Stadium Parking Lot No.17. In addition, heavy vehicles (truck) will not be allowed to go through Smit throughout the day. Besides, vehicles going towards Shillong right from Thangsning downward will go through Laitdiengsai – Laitlyngkot routes.
