SHILLONG: In connection with the upcoming Indo-Bangla River Festival titled NADI 2016, a “photowalk” was conducted beside the Umiam Lake by Asian Confluence on Saturday under the guidance of well known photographer Rohit Suri.
Bathed in the golden and mysterious glow of sunlight, Umiam Lake offered the participants training ground to the techniques of ‘capturing’ and ‘making moments’.
The reflection of nature’s beauty, meanwhile, was painted on canvas by Jana Bednárová from Slovakia.
In the second phase an open to all photography competition would be held. The last date of entries for the same is April 23.
