Shillong girl shines in B’wood

SHILLONG: The young damsel from Shillong Patralekhaa who impressed everyone in a Bollywood movie City Lights has asked the young budding talents to believe in their dreams and work hard to fulfill theirdreams.
Patralekhaa who is now playing a lead  role in another Bollywood thriller Love Games while speaking to The Shillong Times said that many times young and talented girls from smaller cities do not get the support which is required for them to make it big in life.
“We just need to believe and work hard and our dreams will be fulfilled,” she said.
The upcoming movie Love Games directed by Vikram Bhatt with Patralekha, Gaurav Arora and Tara Alisha Berry in the leading roles is scheduled to release on April 8.
The young girl who did her schooling from Loreto Convent had made a big name for herself and for Shillong in Mumbai, thanks to her brilliant acting skills
When asked about her journey from a small town of Shillong to the glamorous life of  Bollywood, the   young talented actor said that she is thankful to her parents for having faith on her and it was their support   which helped her to make it big in Bollywood.
The parents of Patralekhaa stay in Oakland and she says that Shillong is her home and she comes here every three months. She also said that she misses Shillong a lot.
It may be mentioned that one of the songs of her previous movie O re Lamhe was quite a popular song which rocked Bollywood for many months.
The film is scheduled for release on April 8 under the production banner of Vishesh Films. It will be distributed by T-Series in cinemas across India.
The first song titled Awargi was released on March 5 where the complete soundtrack consisting of seven tracks was released on March 8 under T-Series.
It was composed by Sangeet Siddharth and the lyrics were given by Kausar Munir and Vikram Bhatt.
